Arrive at the first stop, Bucklands Beach.
This is a popular local beach and also an upmarket suburban because of Maclean College which produces many brilliant students and many parents want to send their children to study there. From the beach, we are able to view Rangitoto Island which is a dormant volcano that erupted 700 years ago. Rangitoto is a Maori word, that literally means sky blood, possibly because of an eyewitness account of its eruption

Howick Musick Point
This is the headland of the peninsular named in 1942 after American pilot Ed Musick who visited New Zealand in 1937. It is a very scenic place and is a favourite spot for walking, wedding photos, and sightseeing over the harbour. There is a Musick Memorial Radio Station here which was constructed in 1940 to facilitate the need for international air communication in New Zealand because of the increase in aircraft in the 1930s. It was used by American naval forces during World War II. Beside Musick Point is Howick Golf Club, also known as a golf course with a million-dollar view due to the spectacular view over the water and harbour from the golf course.

Lloyd Elsmore Park and Howick Historical Village
Lloyd Elsmore Park is one of Auckland's largest sports parks including cricket, netball, badminton, swimming pools and others. Howick Historical Village is situated here, it is a living history museum with 7 acres of grounds and gardens with a collection including art, furniture, and textiles to show early Auckland life between 1840 - 1880 by "Fencible", Fencibles were retired soldiers and Marines who had fought in wars for Britain in the 1830s and 1840s and had retired on a small pension, they were offered a new life for themselves and their families in Auckland, the wooden buildings in the Village are original, you can open the door of real homes and experience living history for yourself.

Half Moon Bay
Half Moon Bay is well known for the Half Moon Bay Marina, home to over 500 boats with spectacular views over the bay, The marina allows for a short sailing time to picturesque Hauraki Gulf. A passenger and vehicle ferry provides a link to Auckland downtown and Waiheke Island. Around the marina, there is a walkway to enjoy the sea breeze and fresh air. We stop here for lunch at a local cafe. After lunch, we take a short walk around the bay to enjoy the scenery, breeze and fresh air.

Howick Village
A local commercial and retail area with shops and cafes in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, take a short walk along the street to enjoy local life in a mix of old and new buildings

Point View Reserve Summit
It is a 29-hectare natural heritage reserve with spectacular panoramic views. There are different walking tracks and loop walks which may take from half an hour to 2 hours. Today, we will park at the car park and take a short walk of about 10 minutes to the summit to enjoy the views.

Botany Town Center
A town centre with over 200 shops in 3 complexes ranging from retails, food court, restaurants, cafes, entertainment, supermarkets, commercial, shopping mall, healthcare and library. A popular place where locals spend their time and do their shopping. We walk around and enjoy coffee or tea in a local cafe.
