Arrive at Cathedral Cove parking and walking track.
 
This renowned marine reserve and beach offers breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding islands. From the drop-off point, enjoy a scenic 25-30 minute walk to reach the cove. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes and comfortable clothing for the hike. Don’t forget to pack your essentials: sandals, a cap, swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen. Track difficulty: Intermediate

Hahei is a popular holiday destination known for its sandy beaches, marine reserve, and Cathedral Cove. The Hahei Marine Reserve is a nine-square-kilometre marine reserve that's great for diving and snorkelling. Visitors can explore the history of the area on Hahei Heritage Walks, including Hereheretaura, Te Pare, Grange Rd, and McHand's Lookout. Enjoy tasty pastries from local cafeterias, and delicious food from well-known restaurants and food trucks.

Hot Water Beach in New Zealand boasts a fascinating history, including its past use for farming, military activities, and camping. Today, it’s a favourite destination for both tourists and locals. The beach’s famous hot springs are a result of volcanic activity that formed the Coromandel Peninsula. The underground springs, heated by magma deep 2 km below the surface, seep through rock fissures, with water temperatures reaching up to 64°C.
